Learn from the best! 
Creative Grids Educator, Cam Kilman will show us the ropes of creating quilts with Log Cabins. The class will feature the Creative Grids Log Cabin rulers and will showcase different ways to use the ruler to create fabulous quilts. 

This class is not only perfect for beginners – it’s a great “essentials” class for the more experienced quilter who would like to move on  to more complex blocks like the Curvy Log Cabin and Pineapples.

There is unlimited design potential for combining future Log Cabins with other blocks – and a few of these will be shown in class.

Have a big stash? These blocks are very addicting, and are GREAT for busting your stash!

SUPPLY LIST: 

• You will need the CGRJAW1  ruler (Log Cabin trim Tool for 8" blocks) 
• one or more of the following patterns depending on the size project they would like to make:  CLPJAW016 or CLPJAW004. 
• rotary cutter and mat (Mats are available in the classroom, but if you have your own travel mat, it may prove to be more efficient. Rotary cutters are NOT available for borrowed use in the classroom.)
• sewing machine (machines are available for rental from Mt. Creek, $10. Please call ahead to let us know you'd like to rent a machine.)
• your favorite sewing notions; thread, scissors, snips, seam ripper, etc.

For the CLPJAW016 project, you will need 8 light FQ and 8 dark FQ – subcut into 1-3/4” wide strips. And you will need 1 FQ for center Squares – subcut into 2-12” squares.

For the CLPJAW004 project, you will need 5 light FQ and 8 dark FQ – subcut into 1-3/4” wide strips. And you will need (20) 2-1/2” center squares.


Classroom Requirements:

• We are mindful of physical distancing and have a large classroom to allow ample space for each student. Please do not come to class if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness. We support your decision to wear masks, but they are not mandatory.
• You will be in class during lunch hour. You may pack a lunch to eat in the classroom. We have a refrigerator available for students to use. 
• Please bring drinks in a *SCREW TOP* container to avoid messes and accidents.
• Close toed shoes are highly recommended.

Class Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your class 48 hours or more before class, you will be given a shop credit in the amount of the class. If you cancel your class within 48 hours of the class, your class fee will NOT be refundable.
