About Us

Mountain Creek Quilt Shop opened its doors in October of 2009. Located in Maryville at the tail of the Dragon on the Eastern edge of Tennessee, we are a popular sewing and quilting online shop. We also offer classes, sew-ins, and other events throughout the year. We are open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am-4pm.

Owner, Theresa Ayers has been sewing since she was seven years old. She’s always made her own garments and created her first quilt about Twenty Five years ago. For several years she worked at another quilt shop, and when it closed, she opened her own.

Besides being a skilled seamstress, Theresa is also a professional, award-winning longarm quilter. She loves working with fabric and combining fun and unique color combinations for sewing and quilting projects.
